Starting with the break pillar incident, there are no new scenes. 00 raiser goes trans-am and the giant beam sword cuts through the 2nd memento mori.
But the job was not complete as memento mori still managed to fire a shot at the orbital elevator.
Have to watch this in HD to see the glory of the falling window panes.
Chaos ensued as all scurried to destroy the falling debris.
The break pillar incident is one of my favourite part in the anime.
Allelujah seem to be more concerned about marie rather than the falling debris.
Hercules paid for his mistake with his life.
Sergei Smirnov paid for his mistake too, for being a bad parent.
The first new scene occurs during the 4 months break after the incident where we see lockon and anew's relationship. It is also revealed that lockon and the crew had already suspected anew before she betrayed celestial being.During one of the battles, Lockon said something along the lines of : If i can kill all the innovators ,then anew's identity will not be a problem.

The regnant scene remained intact. Hong long's death, was left out in its entirety since he seems to be virtually useless.
Judgement time.
Nothing new in the duel between 00 raiser and susanowo.
Just a little size comparison time.
The second new scene only appeared at the final showdown, where tieria/ seravee put up a much better fight against hiling and revive's Garazzo and Gadessa.

Things seem to be going badly until this happen.
The 3rd new scene is still about tieria. Instead of the regular seraphim, armed seraphim appears instead, turning the tides of battle. I wonder what is the purpose of the new scene, since seraphim is still going to be destroyed by reborns gundam in one shot.
With the trial field activated, the cherudim managed to defeat the arche gundam. Check out my Hg cherudim review too.
0 gundam seems to be drawn in a vintage art style different from the other gundams, probably a homage to the Rx 78-2. Check out Hg 0 gundam 's review too.
The battle of the 2 twin drives MS was shortened.
Exia R2, slashing to the future.
Classic.
Instead of dictating the letter during the final battle, marina reads out her letter to setsuna post-battle with many new scenes. Above we see a Katharon MS with a couple of stranded pilots.
We also see the damaged Arios, Archer and Cherudim retrieved.
Also good to see allelujah and lockon safe and sound as a bonus.
Last new scene is R2 stranded in space until the CB crew found him.
Conclusion:
The new scenes were all concentrated at the last battle which i think is pretty good. I especially like the extended battle of seravee.
My overall score for 3 special edition : 7.0/10
The awesomes:
1. Seravee's last battle
2. Post battle new scenes were great.
3. Good pacing, better than SE I which felt rushed.
4. One thing i forgot to mention in SE I and II, is that the ending songs are great. Ai, Core and Refrain from Mile Face.
The not-so-awesome
1.
Graham clearly got the short stick of the special edition. His character seems out of place throughout.
2. Almost all the new scenes appear at the ending of the movie. Could have added some arios action in the first half of the film.
It is a happy ending for patrick. He gives no crap about invading aliens.
