The gundam that started it all. My first gundam model kit, seravee gundam hg 1/144. I liked this gundam when i first saw the anime gundam 00, with its big guns and the seraphim face at the back. HG or Ng is the way to go for beginner gunpla builders i believe.
1.Introduction:
Model: GN-008 GNHW/B Seravee Gundam
I thought the GNHW/B was a joke when i first bought the kit, i had no idea this meant an upgraded version of the original seravee.
Size: HG 1/144
Boxart:
Epic Boxart. one of my favourite so far.
Manual:
The manual cover looks less impressive, seravee looks toyish...
Price: 1800 yen. on the more expensive range of HG kits, but then again look at the number of weapons.

2. Articulation:
Starting with the small details, the red jewel come unpainted. it does comes with a red sticker so that u can stick it underneath the clear part. i took that off after i got the red paint-tamiya x-27. O btw the paint can be used for many 00 kits, especially the red jewels. i have also used it for the
arios 1/100 too. so do consider investing in the red paint, and maybe green and blue as well if u are planning to buy 00 kits.
The green clear part on its GN canons are clear too, but i didn't paint them becoz the stickers underneath worked well and i do not have the green paint when building this kit. The canons are fairly mobile, they can move up down left right to a certain degree.

They can be opened to release Gn particles.

The big seraphim face on the back. I had problems with its V-fins. they are incredibly loose-i nearly lost one of them. And perhaps becos this is my first build, i think i made a mistake in its construction, resulting in the face to be very rigid and hard to transform into full burst mode. the seraphim face itself is nicely detailed though. Oh well, i don't display the back of my gundams anw.
3. weapons and accessories.
The Gn bazooka in its combined form. One of my favourite point of this gundam is that all of its weapons can be mounted and used at the same time. this means i won't have to prepare a ziplock bag for all its unused accessories.

4. posing
Double Bazooka Buster Cannon, a total of 8 canons/bazookas
The bazookas can be mounted on its shoulders' canons for some great posing and increased stability. Tieria Erde call this the twin buster canon mode.

Notice that i didn't do the pose to show how much its hands and legs can move. well, they can move much as anyone will have guessed. other than the size of the legs the weapons do get into the way limiting its mobility.
But again, i am not going have it do a kicking pose or anything crazy.
Another major plus point is its sturdiness , i have no problem with moving parts and small parts. Parts stay on incredibly well. very important for something this well armed.
They are around the same height, not counting the Gn canons. The weapons on seravee do give it much width and height and depth.
Both Hgs are much taller than the Allelujah figure.
5.Verdict
Articulation: 7/10
Posing: 7/10
Sturdiness: 8.5/10
A very well-made kit it is, i recommend buying this over the regular seravee, just for some more canons. I am considering buying the hg seraphim too, so that i can use its hands and beam sabers to plug into seravee's canons, to recreate the scene where seravee fought the Arche gundam with its beam sabers.
