Gundam Punch
Red Comet Kick!
Shoulder Smash!
Rg Rx 78-2 Verdict: The first real grade, rx78-2 is always the first to get any new grade treatment since it is the first gundam. In this case it does not disappoint, real grade proves to be the next big thing in gunpla: packing articulation, inner frame, MG details into a 1/144 size kit.
Thumbs Up:
1. Details and colour seperation is excellent.
2. Articulation is MG standard.
3. Comes with a transformable core fighter other than the core block.
4. Reaslistic look in contrast with the Mg ver 2.0's anime look.
Thumbs Down:
1. Small parts tend to fall off much easier than HGs.
2. The fingers on the hand fall off.
3. Small parts meant more nub marks.
4. Beam sabers too oversized?
5. The custom attachment for the action base does not work and makes the model sag forward. Thus i used the attachment provided with the action base instead.
Details: 9.0/10 MG quality.
Articulation: 10/10 Nothing needs to be improve, for a 1/144 kit.
Sturdiness: 6.0/10 A tradeoff due to small parts.
Poseability: 9.0/10 Does everything right.
Rg Char's Zaku II 's verdict: Improving on the first real grade, I think the pink/red combo of Char's Zaku II is very well done. I really have no major complaints about this kit.
Thumbs Up:
1. Pink/ Red Colour contrast
2. Nub marks seem to be better hidden than the RG Rx 78-2.
3. Mono eye can move by itself when you turn its head.
4. Weapons are very detailed and there are no problems holding them.
Thumbs Down:
1. Really nitpicking here, but when i was taking the photos, one small pink part from the torso fell off.
Details: 9.5/10 If only the heathawk comes in purple and yellow...
Articulation: 10/10 Perfect
Sturdiness: 8.0/10 I feel that it is more sturdy than my rg aile strike and rx78-2
Poseability: 9.0/10 Wide variety of posing possibility, even for people with poor imagination like me.
Maybe a MG Amuro's Haro...
